WhatsApp is Adding a new “Security Layer” for iPhone Users

iPhone users will surely get impressed with another nifty feature added to Facebook-owned WhatsApp. According to the website “wabetainfo.com”, which tracks all the updates of WhatsApp on a regular basis, WhatsApp is soon going to roll out a new security feature and would soon be supporting FaceID and Touch ID to its app. It will be extremely easy for iPhone users to secure, lock and unlock their app.

Out of these two features, TouchID will be available in iPhone 5S, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus. Apart from the smartphone, WhatsApp has been working on implementing and testing the two new features for iOS app and iPhone XS Max. These features are going to be added as an additional security layer for iPhones and iPad users.

Convenient Shortcuts

WhatsApp new versions include a new UI for shortcuts that will help users to save their time. All they need to do is long press the message to read it. Previously, the shortcuts used to appear in horizontal layout black window, however, after the update it appears in a white window with a vertical layout.

Playback Support for Voice Messages

The best feature that is going to be introduced will eliminate the need to press play and pause on each voice message. It supports consecutive playback voice messages that will play in a sequence by itself.
